The complex Pohansko is situated about 3 km south of Břeclav. It is intersected by a nature trail and a green tourist trail. The building was designed by Josef Hardmuth and the construction was realized in the early 19th century. The pavilion is decorated with sculptural reliefs that depict hunting and scenes from an ancient mythology.

Currently the most interesting place for the visitors is the archaeological museum in a nature. The largest early medieval fortification in the territory of the today's Czech Republic was situated in this area in the 9th century. Inside this fortification were a church, a burial ground, houses, stables, barns and granaries. Archaeological research is carried out here since 1958 and still the ancient treasures are appeared. In the research season even a layman can watch the new discoveries in the field.
